About my work/skills:
I revive the traditions of family historical objects, passed down from generation to generation, carrying the memory of ancestors, the founders of the family. In such traditions, it is customary to depict events related to important milestones in the life of the family, gifts on the occasion and in connection with important events for memory. The items carry reminiscence and the warmth of the touch of relatives who passed away but who passed the family traditions by inheritance. (Warranty on items for several centuries).
I also make orthopedic seating furniture, tailored to the customer's specifications. This includes the height and profile of the spine, the length of the lower leg and thigh, and the forearm. Chairs-armchairs are made of precious woods in various styles (Baroque, Classicism, Chippendale). The seating furniture is carved and decorated with marquetry, stylistically - Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism.
In my work, I use the most valuable wood species from my personal collection of wood species, textures and patterns of various wood cuts. The collection contains hardwoods from the red book that are not mined and are extremely rare, such as pink ivory, black palm and ironwood of Guiana. In total, the collection includes almost two hundred wood species. Consumables are environmentally friendly (natural). The work takes into account the state of the wood, which changes over time, which means that the wood either darkens or burns out, without affecting the artistic concept (tonal solution of the picture). Three or four millimeters of wood in marquetry allow the object to be preserved after repeated restorations from one hundred to five hundred years.
